Charitable Company Limited acknowledge the need to assist the owners and descendants of owners in the area of well-being.
Health Grants are distributed under the Maori Community Purposes section of the Te Ture Whenua Maori Act 1993, in line with the CCL Constitution and in line with the objectives of the Charities Act 2005.
All Health Grants offered by CCL are available to registered Beneficial Owners of Tauhara North No.2 Trust. Health Grants apply within New Zealand only.
Health Grants are intended to:
- enable and increase access to healthcare institutions and services that provide primary and specialist health care.
- provide formal and informal education in the areas of health. These include programmes that improve health. For example, smoking cessation courses or education from the Heart Foundation.
Health Grants are not intended to:
- be used for the likes of swimming fees (unless specifically for swimming lessons), attendance at health retreats or for leisure gym memberships.
All categories of Health Grants are allocated to individuals with the exception of the “General Health” Grant category for which the annual entitlement is allocated per household to household-nominated Household Representative.
